Psychologically Safe Leadership

At WorkSafeNB, we know strong leadership is essential to creating psychologically safe
workplaces.

The National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace recognizes the need for organizations to ensure their leaders have the training and skills to “prevent psychological harm, promote psychological health of workers and address problems related to psychological health and safety.” The standard equally recommends organizations to regularly assess and address leaders’ competencies as they apply to ensuring psychologically safe workplaces.
